Innovation centre was a very educational experience, to go into as a software engineer. Teamed up with service designers and researchers. Interviewed injured workers. Learned the power of the double-diamond, and design workshop synthesis as part of systems thinking. Developed various tools and web apps. This one had a passwordless sign-in using AWS lambda and cognito, and was piloted by the Victorian government, helping the incapacitated in many ways.

Custom-built multi-location course booking system featuring payment gateway integration and PDF certificate generation. With some customisation of the google map styling.

Teamed up with this cool Sydney agency, and went to what is arguably the best office in Australia, the HQ of SLSA at Bondi Beach. When panko made these games panko decided to focus on some more hardcore software engineering principles. So panko read a lot about MVC design patterns and that was fully utilised throughout the codebase. As the project code scaled it paid dividends even though it felt slower at first.

Retro Galaga. Panko had a wicked time smashing out the code for this in 6 days. It needed to be embedded into a larger marketing site. Panko was able to find all the original SFX online. It was not the full game and was not meant to be but it was a lot of fun and panko later hosted it separately with it's own scoreboard API.

Panko' first e-commerce site - which took paypal and eWay credit card payments. Can remember that hallelujah moment when the gateway was all wired up correctly. Shopify didn't exist when panko was doing this. Had some rad fun animating components for the FLUX crew.

Started to work more on kiosk and touch screen systems. Was commissioned to add a new club song to this installation at the Australian Sports Museum. Early IOT / Electronic messaging gateway work.

It's not every day you're hired to build a timed interactive scoring system which generates video signals to show large sports stadium crowds. Huge application.

For the swimming legend Michael's Milk Skincare start up panko was there at the outset, hand-rolled panko's own e-commerce system made with panko's Popcorn CMS. Pre-shopify. As panko's second e-commerce site, it helped to launch this start up. Lessons learned from doing this project are still with panko to this day. Test Coverage anyone?

Panko was commissioned to make some wireframes for a crypto baccarat game. Later worked on some React FE component layouts for the real game.
